Kirk Bradley is chairman of Carolina Trace Properties, which was founded in 1937 by his grandfather, T.G. Proctor Sr., and is located in the Sandhills region of eastern North Carolina. He also is president of Lee-Moore Oil Company.
In 1988 he and his uncle, the late Truby G. Proctor Jr., founded the Governors Club, a private golf community in Chatham County, North Carolina, and he is the former president of the Governors Club Development Corporation.
Kirk has served on the Duke Heart Center Advisory Board since its founding in 1993. He also served on the Fuqua School of Business Board of Visitors from 1994 to 2001 and is a past president of the Fuqua alumni council.
Kirk serves on several community volunteer boards, including the Old Chatham Golf Club Board of Directors, the alumni board for the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Institute for the Environment, and as a trustee of the Civil War Preservation Trust.
Kirk holds a BBA from the Terry College of Business and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business. He and his wife, Deanne Wood Bradley, live in Chapel Hill.
